Formation of Knocking Sounds - If there is not enough oil circulation in the engine to keep the components lubricated, a prominent noise is generated which is a result of the piston rod knocking against the crankshaft of the engine. If this issue is not rectified with immediate effect, the sound will only get louder, and ultimately, can damage the crankshaft of the engine, thereby seizing off the engine.

Weak Acceleration - Seizing of an engine is a very abnormal condition, which can be felt easily with this intimation. If you are pressing the accelerator pedal and are not getting the desired pulling power from the engine. If not addressed at the right time, the loss of power from the accelerator will become gradually bigger, and ultimately, you won't be getting any power at all, which is a sign of complete seizure of the engine.

Formation of Burning Smell or Smoke - This condition happens as an after-effect of ultimate severity when there is no engine oil at all in the engine, and as a result the components in the engine will burn out, the formation of white smoke and black soot, the former of which can be felt visually as well as in the form of smoke.
