Maruti Suzuki Celerio

The Maruti Celerio has been crash tested by Global NCAP, with the six-airbag version scoring a 3-star rating for adult safety and 2 stars for child safety, while the older two-airbag model gets lower scores. However, an unstable bodyshell and limited child protection continue to cap its overall safety performance despite the added airbags.

The Maruti Celerio has received a major safety update, now offering six airbags as standard across all variants, making it significantly safer than before. This upgrade comes alongside a price hike, while the rest of the features and mechanical setup remain unchanged.

The Maruti Celerio Limited Edition has been launched with added cosmetic upgrades and accessories worth around Rs 11,000, enhancing its visual appeal without mechanical changes. It features a sporty body kit, spoiler, and interior enhancements, while continuing with the same 1.0-litre petrol engine and manual/AMT options, and will be available for a limited period.

The Maruti Alto K10, Celerio, and S-Presso Dream Series have been launched at a starting price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing added accessories and features to these entry-level hatchbacks. The limited-run edition, available for a short period, introduces enhancements like a reverse parking camera, infotainment upgrades, and cosmetic tweaks to improve value without mechanical changes.

Maruti is set to introduce a limited-run ‘Dream Series’ edition for the Alto K10, Celerio, and S-Presso, aimed at offering more features at a value-driven price point of around Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition is expected to add features like a reverse camera, infotainment upgrades, and cosmetic enhancements, while remaining available for a limited period only.
