The Tata Tigor has recently received a mild update and now comes in five primary variants. The base XM variant gets some new additions but still misses out on a lot of features. The variant we recommend the most is the XZ variant. The 2025 Tigor XZ variant is available in three iterations. In the first iteration which is the XZ, you get a decent number of features, but if you want a bigger screen, HD camera, and other premium features, the XZ+ can be a good option. The top iteration of the XZ variant, the XZ+ Lux, it offers even more premium features such as a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and more. At last, the XZ or XZ+ variant are the most recommended ones from our side.

Should I buy the Tigor?
The Tata Tigor is a car with strong characteristics, robustness, and an elegant charm. With great features, a good engine, and seating comfort, it is a compelling choice in the segment. Consumers' attraction towards its safety rating has brought in a lot of confidence for opting for safer cars. In case you are still not sure about Tigor, then we will recommend going for another option like Honda Amaze.
- The design language of the Tigor is appealing. With simple elements and a smiling face, it provides a feeling of happiness when first seen. The projector setup for the headlamps provides good illumination. The fog lamps have a subtle use of chrome that has sophisticated elegance.
- On the top-spec variant, it has 15” alloys. They enhance the ride quality compared to 14” wheels in lower trims. The minimal use of chrome on the door handles and the lower window line gives a sense of luxury to this sedan.

- Coming to the core of the Tigor, it has a 3-cylinder petrol engine. This motor is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT.

Latest On Tata Tigor
Last Updated on 25th Apr'25: Tata updated the Tigor for Model Year 2025 with new color options and enhanced exteriors with a new grille and alloy wheels, and now it looks classier. To add more, the interior is all new with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, two-spoke steering wheel, and a new central console with a gloss black trim. However, the powertrain remains the same.
Like its hatchback counterpart, the Tata Tigor was also updated for 2025 with tweaked design elements and more features inside. The premium quotient of this car has increased with features like a 10.24-inch infotainment screen, a front armrest, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and a new digital instrument cluster. It is still available with a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT. Additionally, customers can also opt for CNG variants.
