The British manufacturer, Range Rover has finally launched the 2020 Evoque to India at a price of Rs 54.94 Lakh, ex-showroom. The baby Velar sees a hike of about Rs 3 lakh over its predecessor and it is just not the pricing which is different, but the overall styling and new features. The new Evoque will be offered with a 2.0, BS6 compliant diesel engine.

Let's talk about the flush deployable door handles that we've witnessed in the Velar. This looks awesome, doesn't it? The design is muscular at the front and carries a tapered rear with Velar highlights. The front sees LED signature headlights and Daytime Running Lights which catches your eye.

The new Evoque retains the Range Rover DNA and comes with varied Terrain Response System and also offers Hill Descent Control. It also gets Wade Sensing which measures the water depth you're in.

The cabin of the 2020 Range Rover Evoque gets twin touchscreen units, one for the infotainment unit and other is to control the AC vents. The car will be provided with cabin air ionisation and offer a fully digital instrumental console. The 16-way power-adjustable front seats make way for the comfort of the driver. What's new is that the circular transmission dial makes way for the joystick lever (It's a cool add on, right?).
Under the hood, the baby Range comes with BS6 compliant diesel engine. Sharing insights about the diesel engine, then it churns out 178 bhp along with a peak torque of 430 Nm.

The new Range Rover Evoque competes with the BMW X3, Audi Q3, Volvo XC60 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. With its uber-cool design and new technologies and knowing the fact that the pre-lifted Evoque grabbed good sales, let's see how this new SUV appeals in the Indian market.
