2021 Force Gurkha Brochure Leaked Ahead Of Imminent Launch - All Details

Force Gurkha has always been a popular hardcore SUV in India. It was on sale in India in the BS4 era but as the BS6 norms kicked in, the Gurkha was discontinued. Pune-based home-grown utility vehicle maker showcased the all-new Force Gurkha at the 2020 Auto Expo. The India launch of the 2021 Force Gurkha is expected to happen soon and ahead of its official launch, the brochure of the SUV has leaked online. Here are all the details about it.

2021 Force Gurkha - Engine Specifications

The upcoming new 2021 Force Gurkha will be powered by a BS6 compliant 2.6-litre common-rail turbocharged diesel engine. This oil-burner will churn out around 90 PS of power and more than 200 Nm of peak torque. The mill will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox only. The SUV will get the off-road capable 4x4 drivetrain system with a low-ratio transfer case. The 4x4 model of the Gurkha will also feature live axles at either end with front and rear manual locking differentials. The brochure of the Gurkha reveals how the new SUV will be marketed and also its off-road and adventure prowess.

2021 Force Gurkha - Interior and Safety Features

The all-new 2021 Force Gurkha will get a revamped interior and will offer some creature comfort features too. It will get a new dashboard design that will house the new touchscreen infotainment system. The SUV will be able to seat six people at once. It will get four forward-facing seats and two jump seats at the rear. Talking about features, it will get power windows, a new instrument cluster with digital multi-information display HVAC Controls, etc. The Force Gurkha will be now even equipped with some modern safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, etc.

2021 Force Gurkha - India Launch Timeline

The Force Gurkha was expected to be launched in mid-2020. However, due to the pandemic and supply chain issues, its launch was delayed multiple times and now it is expected to be launched in the month of June/July 2021.

2021 Force Gurkha - Expected Price and Rivals

The price of the new 2021 Force Gurkha is expected to start from Rs. 10 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and its only direct rival will be Mahindra Thar.
