2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Revealed; Will it Come to India?

Hyundai teased the next generation of the Santa Fe a few days back and everyone was stunned by that humongous grille, now as the actual car is revealed. The new Santa Fe sits on an updated chassis and it improves all the key factors of the new car. Let's see what Hyundai has on offer with its new 2021 Santa Fe.

2021 Hyundai Santa Fe front

The front of the Santa Fe gets a bold grille with different patterns and designs which will change according to the variants. The LED headlights merge with the grille; so do the LED DRLs which are placed on the top and the similar pattern is also added in the main headlight to give it a connected look. The lower part of the bumper also gets silver cladding.

The 2021 Santa Fe rides on 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and lower variants will get smaller sized wheels. The side profile of the Santa Fe gets masculine wheel arches and black body cladding in offroad specific variants. Moving to the rear, we see a connected LED taillights unit with some neat LED elements and the lower part of the bumper gets silver skid plate and faux exhaust mufflers.

The interiors of the Santa Fe are more luxurious than even; everything is wrapped with rich leather and soft-touch materials. Hyundai Santa Fe boasts a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with all the connectivity features and a 12.3-inch digital driver's display. The highlight is the floating big centre dashboard which sports the all-new shift-by-wire technology and it replaces the old gear knob; climate controls and other control buttons are also placed on the centre console.

Hyundai hasn't revealed the engine options of the 2021 Santa Fe but Hyundai claims that for the first time, the Santa Fe gets a Terrain mode selector which sits in the main console and it offers sand, snow, mud and other driving modes for a better experience from the All Wheel Drive (AWD) system.

The new 2021 Santa Fe will go on sale in Europe this September but will it come to India? Well, it is uncertain because the Santa Fe sits below the bigger Palisade and Hyundai is planning to launch the Palisade in the Indian market. We also get the Tucson which sits below the Santa Fe which leaves lesser space between all the three cars. Hyundai may skip the Santa Fe for the Indian market and launch the Palisade SUV. Hyundai Tucson facelift is also scheduled to get launch after the lockdown in the Indian market.
