2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift Launched in India; Priced From Rs 16.26 Lakhs - All Details

Toyota has today finally launched the new facelifted Innova Crysta BS6 in India. The Innova Crysta is a very popular MPV in the Indian market. It is also one of the best-selling MPVs in India with over 8.80 lakh units sold till date. The first-generation Innova was launched in India in the year 2005 and the second-generation model was introduced in 2016. A few weeks ago, the company officially revealed the new Innova Crysta Facelift in Indonesia and now it has been finally launched in India. The price of the new 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift starts at Rs. 16.26 lakhs, Ex-showroom pan-India (except Kerala).

Talking about the changes, the newly launched Innova Crysta Facelift gets subtle cosmetic updates and new features. However, the mechanicals of the MPV remains the same as before. Starting with the design, so it gets a new front fascia. The old dual chrome-slatted front grille has now been replaced by a bold trapezoidal piano-black grille with chrome surrounds on either side. The headlamp of the MPV has also been slightly redesigned and now it gets new daytime-running LEDs. Then, it gets a revised fog lamp assembly, new sharp front bumpers and faux skid plates. The new BS6 Innova Crysta Facelift also a new Sparkling Black Crystal Shine colour shade for the exterior.

The side profile and rear of the new facelifted Innova Crysta doesn't get any major changes. However, it does get new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Step inside the car and you can see that the interior of the MPV is more or less the same as before. The new facelifted Innova Crysta gets an all-black theme for the interior. However, the top-spec ZX trim gets a new luxurious interior colour of Camel Tan for the upholstery. Also, there is an all-new Smart Playcast 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The instrument cluster has also been revised and it now even gets front clearance SONAR (with MID indication) for improved safety. The new Innova Crysta Facelift will be still available both as a seven-seater as well as an eight-seater MPV.

Talking about the powertrain options on offer, it is powered by the same set of petrol and diesel engines as before. It gets a BS6-compliant 2.7-litre petrol engine that churns out 166 PS of power and 245 Nm of peak torque. It also gets a BS6-compliant 2.4-litre diesel engine that churns out 150 PS of power and 360 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The new facelifted Innova Crysta will be available in GX, VX and ZX trims. Finally, talking about the prices, the price of the new 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift starts at Rs. 16.26 lakhs and it goes all the way up to Rs. 24.33 lakhs, Ex-showroom pan-India (except Kerala).
