2022 Ducati Scrambler 800 Urban Motard naked sports bike will soon launch in India. Ducati has released a teaser of the upcoming Scrambler bike.

We reported to you earlier that Ducati is going to bring newer models to India soon (read here). The most expected model is the 2022 Ducati Scrambler 800 Urban Motard. The scrambler bike is already on sale globally & is likely to launch in India in the coming days. Ducati has shared a teaser of the Scrambler indicating the soon launch.

2022 Ducati Scrambler 800 Urban Motard

Speaking of the new bike, it endorses a complete Scrambler styling with rugged body panels. The whole point of the design is to make it capable to go anywhere. The raised beak at the front & AT tyres make out for slush riding. Contrary, the round LED headlight & the sculpted metal fuel tank give it a retro-urban bike look.

The small wheelbase does help in sharp handling & easy traffic filtering. The Scrambler 800 uses spoked tubeless rims with a large single disc brake at the front & single disc brake at the rear. The main attraction of the design is the dual-tone paint scheme of Star Silk White and Ducati GP 2019 Red with unique fuel tank graphics.

Powering this bike is an 803cc, L-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It produces a peak power of 72 hp & 66.2 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch function is standard for the Scrambler 800.

Technical specifications include - a 41 mm Kayaba telescopic from suspension & a single mono-shock at the rear. Dual-channel ABS, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, digital instrument cluster, and LED lighting are also offered along.

Going by the teaser released by Ducati, the launch is expected within the coming days. Also, Ducati is planning a surprise for the Indian market. This is another bike launch which is expected to be the Ducati Streetfighter V2. The expected pricing is around Rs 10.5 Lakh for the Scrambler 800 UM.

The main rivals include - Triumph Scrambler 900 & Kawasaki Ninja 900.
