Hi, I'm Tejen. I was born and brought up in a small town of Haryana. However, from the day of my birth and until now, I've always lived around cars and motorcycles. More than passion, the automotive world is my only lifestyle. It's the connection to the vehicle that delivers me peace. However, when it comes to a choice; my instinct leads me towards motorcycles.

2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launched At Rs 3.37 Lakhs In India

2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 sports cum tourer motorcycle has launched in India at Rs 3.37 Lakhs ex-showroom with no technical changes.

Kawasaki's entry-level sports-cum-tourer motorcycle has launched in the Indian market. The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 was launched at Rs 3.37 lakhs ex-showroom. The majority of the motorcycle remains the same as the previous generation of it. The only changes are the cosmetic ones.

The newest iteration is now available in three different colour options - Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Ebony. The Candy Lime Green colour options still use the same KRT edition graphics inspired by the flagship sports bike Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. On the other hand, the Lime Green and Ebony colour options feature new graphics as compared to the older colours.

But that's it for the changes. There were expectations that Kawasaki might update the Ninja 300 with new tech upgrades. The anticipation indicated a fully-digital instrument console that did not make it to the launch. Ninja 300 still uses the same 296cc, parallel-twin, BS-6 compliant engine, producing a peak power of 38.4 hp and 27 Nm of peak torque. Kawasaki Ninja 300 uses a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-assist clutch function leading to fast gear shifts for transmission.

Feature-wise also the motorcycle remains unchanged. The twin-pod halogen headlights, small windscreen, dual-channel ABS, and semi-digital instrument console are the only listicles among the features list. While the competitors are constantly updating themselves, Kawasaki has relied on its no-change strategy which seems not to be fruitful from the word go. On one side the 2022 KTM RC 390 is readying for the launch; on the other side TVS Apache RR 310 is consistently upgraded with tech and cosmetics. To compete with its rivals Kawasaki must make radical changes to the Ninja 300; which indeed is a very well-put-up product. The lack of updates is slowly killing the Ninja 300 in the Indian market.
