2023 Honda CB300R With OBD2 Compliance Launch At Rs 2.40 Lakh

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2023 CB300R, which complies with OBD2A standards. The latest model, the 2023 Honda CB300R, is available for booking at nearby BigWing dealerships, and it comes with an appealing price tag of Rs. 2,40,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Honda CB300R is available in two colour options Pearl Spartan Red and Matte Massive Grey Metallic colours.

2023 Honda CB300R

The CB300R takes its design cues from the retro-inspired CB1000R, a liter-class roadster. It features a robust fuel tank and a prominent upswept exhaust, influenced by the neo sports cafe aesthetic. To add to its style, the bike is equipped with a complete LED lighting system, including a round LED headlamp, LED turn signals, and an LED tail lamp.

In terms of its components, the bike is equipped with USD front forks and a mono-shock that can be adjusted. The motorcycle has a lightweight design, tipping the scales at only 146 kilograms. When it comes to stopping power, it relies on a 296mm disc brake in the front and a 220mm disc brake in the rear, both equipped with standard dual-channel ABS. As for its features, the motorcycle comes with a fully digital instrument cluster, and it has been updated to include an emergency stop signal function and a hazard light switch.

Honda CB300R - Engine

The new Honda CB300R is powered by a robust 286.01cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine that complies with BSVI and OBD2A standards. This engine delivers a potent 30.7 bhp of power and 27.5 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Additionally, it features an assist slipper clutch, which facilitates smoother gearshifts.

The recently introduced CB300R, featuring an OBD2-compliant engine, presents an enhanced value proposition for its customers. This dynamic motorcycle now enters the market in competition with notable rivals such as the BMW G310R and the KTM 390 Duke.
