One of India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, Ashok Leyland which is a part of Hinduja's Group has launched Ecomet Star 1115 CNG truck with a turbocharged engine. Not only does it improves the performance of the vehicle but also gives a better driving pleasure to the driver.
It is now powered by an H series CNG turbocharged engine that generates 144 hp of power on tap with a peak torque of 450 Nm. The superior KM-KG performance gives the driver a seamless driving experience and is also helpful when the truck moves even when it is at its full capacity.
Ashok Leyland is giving multiple CNG options with the Ecomet Star 1115 truck. The CNG capacity range includes 360L, 450L and 480L. Similarly, the commercial vehicle manufacturer is also proving multiple load span options that include 17ft, 20ft and 22ft.

What's interesting is that even with the huge CNG cylinders, this truck is offered with both slow and fast filling nozzles to suit all types of CNG stations and gets proper sealing and superior pipes. This truck also gets a heavy-duty axle, suspension and frame.
What's new is that it now gets a new digital dashboard with advanced driver assist, a spacious sturdy and state-of-the-art cabin to keep the driver and helper comfortable for longer journeys. It also gets advanced telematics, and remote diagnostics with 24*7 customer assistance through an uptime solution centre.
With this product, Ashok Leyland strengthened its ICV CNG portfolio in the 11T CNG segment. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Head- MHCV, Ashok Leyland, said, The CV industry is foreseeing a rapid growth towards greener and cleaner fuels.
