Avanti Cycles Up For Launch In India!

Bicycles have always played a significant role in the life of an individual at any age. With the wave of affordable electric mobility coming down the road for two-wheelers, we must not lay a shroud over the wheels which were meant to keep us healthy. Many countries in the world have switched to cycles for the local city commute. Many cities in India too have dedicated cycling tracks and paths for cyclists to stay away from other motorists on road. A brand that successfully managed to cater for the needs of the natives of New Zealand and Australia is all set to enter India with Avanti cycles in a joint venture with Scott Sports India in the Indian bicycle market.

Avanti Giro FM1: The Olympic Medal Bagger Bicycle

The first bicycle launched in India by Avanti is the 'Avanti Giro FM1'. It would be pitched at a premium price of Rs. 40,990. The Avanti Giro FM1 is an Olympic medal bagger bicycle, and it will be sold in the country for both male and female riders. The enterprise aims to introduce 12 new bicycle models in the upcoming six months along with a dedicated lineup for the youngsters too. They aim to expand their services with a network of at least one hundred dealerships across the country in the next two quarters of this year.

The Avanti Giro FM1 bicycle is equipped with the Microsoft Acolyte drivetrain in India, which has been proven to be a robust and straightforward technology over the years with a wide range of gears to reduce human effort and improve pedal travel efficiency. Avanti Giros are also equipped with a spring lock mechanism which is usually found only on high-end bicycles and is an advanced technology to switch gears with minimal wear and tear. The women version of the Avanti Giro is named the Giro FM 1W, which features a distinctly designed frame for women with a wider and high-density saddle.
