The overall interior of the LWB version is expected to remain similar to that of the regular X1. However, the biggest addition will be the increased legroom for rear-row passengers, offering a more comfortable rear-seat experience. Moreover, the brand could also offer wider headrests for enhanced comfort. Apart from these changes, the interior layout is expected to remain largely similar to the regular version.

On the features front, the BMW X1 LWB is expected to get a similar set of equipment as the regular X1, including powered front seats, wireless charging, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.7-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Harman Kardon sound system, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, a multi-function steering wheel, and more.
BMW X1 LWB - Engine & Specifications
The BMW X1 LWB is expected to be powered by the same engines that are offered with the regular X1 in India. The petrol version is likely to get a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 134 bhp and 230 Nm of peak torque. The second option is expected to be a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 148 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. Both engines are expected to be offered with the BMW X1 LWB in India.
The upcoming BMW X1 LWB is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 54-57 lakh (ex-showroom). The regular version of the X1 is currently priced between Rs 50.9 lakh and Rs 52.9 lakh (ex-showroom). We can expect the LWB version to attract more buyers, owing to the additional space and improved rear-seat comfort compared to the regular X1.
