
Buddh International Circuit is country's largest and the only F1 Track present in the heart of Uttar Pradesh. Located near Greater Noida, this track can accomodate a total of 1,20,000 people in the seating area. And the government has decided to use the Buddh International Circuit as a perfect place to be targeted as a quarantine facility.

Reports of many daily wage labourers from parts of UP and Bihar have been stranded in the city due to the lockdown. And to our surprise, due to lack of transportation, these workers are walking several kilometres to reach their place. To take care of people of India and to provide a better facility, Buddh International Circuit which is located near Yamuna Expressway seems like a better quarantine shelter home.

The rule states that any person who is stranded because of this lockdown can use this facility till April 14, 2020. Amidst this pandemic, the Government is taking every measure to safeguard the interests of the people and their life.
Apart from BIC, the Government has also listed down 20 such buildings that can be safely turned into a shelter home. This is done as to ensure that the infected person, if any, is not reaching out to more number of people in the pandemic. They will be marked safe if they use this facility.

At the Budd Internation Circuit, officials have been assigned to their task and several beds, mattresses, medical facilities, toilets and among other facilities can be taken care of. The report also says that a total of 7,000 people can be accommodated in the 28 shelter homes in Gautam Budh Nagar.

Sharing more details on the history of Bud Internation Circuit then this F1 track was build in 2011 and hosted several Grand Prix from 2011 and 2013. Several car and bike manufacturers have used this track in the past for various shoots and track days. This has also been a hub for local championships. This track has now been sealed by Yamuna Expressway Infrastructure Developing Authority (YEIDA) for non-payment of dues.
