The ecomet Star is one of Ashok Leylands robust and best selling ICVs in the country. It comes packed with features and provides superior fuel efficiency figures.

Last year, we launched the Ashok Leyland Ecomet BSVI with i-GEN6 technology in the ICV segment. The vehicle soon became popular among our customers and the demand picked up quickly. The demand for the ICV segment has been increasing rapidly due to the opening of the businesses post lockdowns. Therefore, to meet the customer requirements, we continue to expand our product portfolio accordingly, said Sanjay Saraswat, MHCV President of Ashok Leyland.

As for the vehicle, the Ashok Leyland Ecomet Start comes with different load body options ranging between 12ft to 24ft in CBC, FSD, DSD and HSD. It comes equipped with an i-Gen6 technology-based engine that churns out 150hp of power and  450 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission. Also, thanks to the front metal facia, the vehicle requires lower maintenance.

In terms of features, the Ecomet Star comes equipped with digital solutions like i-Alert (advanced telematics) and remote diagnostics. It offers day and sleeper cabins that provide excellent comfort. The company also provides over 3000 touchpoints for ease of access to sales and aftersales support, which is supported by 24׷ customer assistance, Uptime Solution Centre and an extensive Service Mandi network.
