ElectricPe and Hero Electric Join Hand To Expand Charging Points in India

The ElectricPe and Hero Electric Partnership will concentrate on expanding charging points in malls, office spaces, and residential complexes. The main objective of the partnership is to further the ecosystem.

To meet the rising demand for electric two-wheelers, and subsequently, its charging infrastructure, Hero Electric, and ElectricPe have partnered up to set up charging points across India. ElectricPe recently committed to setting up 100,000 charging points across India. So, customers of Hero Electric can avail these charging points.

The main objective of this alliance is to propel EV adoption across the country as well as to build up its infrastructure.  The charging points will mostly be located in residential complexes, offices, malls, and such closed space establishments.

Speaking on the occasion of this announcement was the CEO of Hero Electric, Mr. Sohinder Gill. He emphasized how A robust charging network is crucial for the growing EV sector for the faster adoption of EVs across as well.  This association will provide a seamless charging and EV riding experience to customers by easing the accessibility through ElectricPes charging points that are getting installed on a large scale across the country. With our vision and commitment to advancing the growth of EVs, we are working rigorously to scale up the charging infrastructure, he further added.

Our goal has been to help make the transition to electric mobility smooth by making it inclusive and convenient for consumers pan-India for their varied commuting activities. In line with this, we are thrilled to partner with the biggest players in India,  said Mr. Avinash Sharma, the co-founder, and CEO, of ElectricPe said. The association with Hero Electric will further our goal to bring clean and affordable access to charging to a billion Indians, right at their doorstep, he added.
