Honda two-wheelers have updated its popular range of bikes and scooters to BS6 and today, Honda has launched the CD Dream 110 Deluxe with the BS6 compliant engine. The bike gets some major changes and one of them is programmed fuel injection. This commute bike carries a price of Rs 62,729 ex-showroom, Ahmedabad.
The Honda CD Dream 110 Deluxe is a commuter-segment motorcycle and has been thoroughly revised with the BS6 update. Talking about the mechanical changes first, the update brings a new and revised 110cc single-cylinder fuel-injected petrol engine. The new engine sports a host of changes like fuel-injection technology and ACG starter for smooth and jolt-free engine start.
The smooth engine start happens owing to the patented technology which is based on two mechanical features: the first one is the efficient use of decompression with slightly opened exhaust valves and the second is the Swing back feature which rotates the engine in a slightly opposite direction leading to a smooth engine start and uses a small amount of power.
Along with the mechanical updates, the updated bike comes with an integrated start/stop button for easy operation, low rolling resistance tyres leading to more mileage and grip, DC headlight for constant illumination without any fluctuation, integrated headlight beam and pass switch, Combined Braking System (CBS) and 15mm longer seat than before for added comfort.
The bike also sports some cosmetic updates like body-coloured side mirrors, new graphics, 5-spoke silver-coloured alloy wheels and chrome muffler for the exhaust. Honda has launched the CD Dream 110 BS6 in two variants - Standard and Deluxe. The price of the CD Dream 110 BS6 starts at Rs 62,729 and the Deluxe variant will be priced a tad higher. Price mentioned is ex-showroom, Ahmedabad.
