BMW M440i xDrive Convertible Launched In India At Rs 1.09 Cr

BMW India has launched the all-new M440i xDrive Convertible in India at Rs 1,09,00,000 (ex-showroom). This is now the third iteration of the 4 Series available in India, after the M4 and M4 CS. What sets it apart is its lifestyle-oriented body style, chrome inserts, and a wide range of individualisation options. BMW has introduced it via the CBU route, and the convertible is now available for purchase. BMW M440i xDrive

The all-new BMW M440i xDrive is all about freedom of outdoor in an ultimate driving machine. At core, it gets the familiar 3.0L twin-turbo Inline 6 cylinder engine mated to a 48-volt mild hybrid setup - that puts out 374 hp and 500 Nm of toruqe, going to all-four wheels via 8-speed DCT gearbox. Result? 0 to 100 in 4.9 seconds, and a top-speed of 250 km/h.

The M440i Convertible colour options are - Portimao Blue, Brooklyn Grey, Cape York Green, Fire Red, Arctic Race Blue, Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Alpine white. Moreover, for a totally individual experience, the car can be had with any possible colour upon request. For interior theme, the sensatec upholstery available in Black, Tacora Red, or Cognac.

Talking about its soft-top, its all fabric with classical aesthetics and it can be activated while travelling up to 50 km/h and the opening/closing process takes 18 seconds.

Features

The interior appears futuristic, with a driver-centric dashboard that is very typical of BMW. It features a BMW Curved Display comprising a 12.3-inch drivers display and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen, both running on the latest BMW Operating System 8.5. Features on offer include a 360-degree surround-view camera, wireless charging, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a head-up display with augmented reality, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting, among others.

To add to the driving fun, the car also gets Adaptive M Suspension, a sport differential, and M Sport brakes.
