India Bike Week 2025: A Week's Delay, Same Spirit

Despite the date shuffle, the excitement around the 12th edition of India Bike Week (IBW) remains undiminished. Set once again in Goa, the festival will continue to celebrate everything that defines motorcycling culture, from new bike launches and custom showcases to live music and spirited camaraderie among riders from across India and beyond. This year's edition promises a packed schedule of adrenaline, craftsmanship, and community. A major draw will be the Harley-Davidson Flat Track Race, where custom-built Harley-Davidson X440 motorcycles, prepared by the renowned Rajputana Customs, will go wheel-to-wheel on dirt for glory and a sizeable prize pool.

Another centrepiece is the Jameson IBW Bike Build-Off, a competition that celebrates India's most creative custom builders. Three finalists will receive brand-new Harley-Davidson X440 motorcycles and a budget of Rs. 1.5 lakh each to turn their ideas into show-stopping machines, which will debut live at the event. For those who prefer relaxed riding over racing, the 'Chai & Pakoda Rides' are back, a series of pre-IBW breakfast rides across 20 cities designed to unite local biking communities ahead of the grand Goa meet.
New Experiences & Community Rides
A fresh addition to this year's lineup is the Mentorship Ride with Maral Yazarloo, where the celebrated overlander will guide a small group of riders on a Mumbai-to-Goa journey focused on adventure-riding skills and travel preparation.

At the festival grounds, the Big Trip Stage will once again feature inspiring tales from India's most seasoned travellers, while the Custom Show will spotlight the finest handcrafted motorcycles and collector builds from across the country. Combined with the lively food stalls, shopping zones for riding gear, and a stellar music lineup, IBW 2025 is prepping up to be a comprehensive celebration of the motorcycling lifestyle.
Verdict
Although the rescheduling may disrupt a few travel plans, the extra week gives organisers and participants more time to gear up for what promises to be an even bigger spectacle. With its unique intersection of racing, custom culture, and community spirit, India Bike Week 2025 remains the ultimate pilgrimage for bikers. Come December 19, Goa will once again rumble to the sound of throttles, laughter, and unbridled passion for the open road.
