The statement given above stays true as Mahindra has recently announced the introduction of its 5100 Series in the U.S market. The brand is interested in presenting 45 hp and 55 hp tractors from the 5100 Series that boast of being engineered to meet the global standards and the demands of the North American rural lifestyles.

We are in expansion mode. We are expanding our production capacity and the fleet of tractors to meet the demands of our customers who prefer heavy-duty tractors, says Viren Popli, Leader of Mahindra North America. He further added that Mahindra has been around for 27 years in the U.S selling tractors that have 27 hp to 70hp and it has no plans to back off from the competition in this sector.
Mahindra has been quite involved in the development of the tractor and extensive customer testing. It is believed that the Mahindra 5100 Series tractor has undergone several significant changes based on the feedback the company received from customers. It is said that most of the changes were of operator controls and loader for better visibility and ease of use.

As for the tractor, the Mahindra 5100 series is offered in two models- 45 hp 5145 and 55 hp 5155. Both the models come fitted with a mCRD common rail diesel technology-based engine coupled to a full synchromesh 12F/12R transmission that is efficient in terms of performance. The 5100 series also comes equipped with a tilt steering wheel as standard and has an all-steel hood and fenders.
In addition to these, it also features 1 rear and 1 mid/loader hydraulic outlet. The 5100 series get a reliable 540/540E PTO too. Like always, Mahindra has also generously offered both models with a 5-year limited powertrain warranty of up to 3,000 hours.
