Mahindra Electric - Terrago Logistics partner up for providing the expansion in the electric last-mile delivery business.
Mahindra Electric - Terrago Logistics has shaken hands forming a joint venture to provide expansion support in the electric mobility service business. The new partnership will work towards the introduction of electric mobility solutions in the last-mile delivery services. The new pact is that Mahindra Electric will supply Terrago logistics with electric commercial vehicles to expand its pollution-free portfolio.

Terrago Logistics is a Delhi-based startup that works in the logistics delivery business. According to the data released, Terrago currently has deployed a total of 65 Mahindra Electric Treo Zor three-wheelers. These three-wheelers are being used to provide the last-mile delivery for grocery major i.e. Big Basket. Terrago logistics also provides services to the various industries such as - F&B, consumer goods, industrial goods, paper & packaging industries.
Speaking of the Mahindra Electric Treo Zor, it is one of the best-selling electric three-wheeler pan India. Powered with an 8 kW of electric motor, the Treo produces a peak torque of 42 Nm. This torque and lightweight chassis of Treo helps it pull heavy loads with its payload capacity up to 550 kg. According to the company, a total of 18,000 Treo Zor three-wheelers have been sold till now. This EV shares 73.4 percent of the market share as well. One of the main reasons behind its sales is the claim that Mahindra makes regarding the durability and economical nature of Treo. According to the claim, Treo can save up to Rs 5 Lakhs in fuel costs over 5 years as compared to ICE-powered three-wheelers. Mahindra electric also has range of other commercial EVs such as the Mahindra E-Alfa Mini, Mahindra Treo Yaari, etc.
Terrago logistics has successfully achieved the milestone of 700+ vendors, 150+ routes covered, & about 150+ average loads per month of statistics. This increment shows the potential of the electric mobility services in India which the Mahindra Electric - Terrago Logistics partnership aims to capture in the future.
