Mercedes-Benz is gearing up to introduce the AMG CLE 53 Coupe in India on August 12. This high-performance coupe combines AMG's performance DNA along with the elegance of a grand tourer. Design And Styling
The AMG CLE 63 takes the elegant DNA of CLE and injects it with athletic aggression. The front fascia features the signature Panamericana grille flanked by sleek LED headlamps and a big Mercedes star in the middle. The fender arches at the front and rear have been widened, along with a more aggressive bumper. Meanwhile, the rear end wraps up the visual drama with twin LED taillamps, quad exhaust tips with an integrated gloss black diffuser.
Interiors
Inside, the CLE 53 Coupe exhibits the AMG-specific cockpit. The moment you step in, greeted by an Alcantara-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel along with red stitching. While the performance seats have been covered in carbon fibre and Alcantara. Dominating the centre, you'll find the 11.9-inch MBUX infotainment surrounded by tri-air vents. Moreover, it includes a Burmester Surround Sound System, a heads-up display, a wireless charger, and 64-colour ambient lighting.
Powertrain
At the heart of this beast acclaimed as a 3.0-litre M256 twin turbo, paired with a 48V mild hybrid system. All this together belts out 449 PS and 560 Nm of torque. This power is channelised through a 9-speed dual-clutch gearbox and across all wheels via AMG's 4 MATIC+ system. And the results? It can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 4.2 seconds and can go up to a top speed of 250 km/h.
Well, this beast is estimated to be priced at around Rs 2 Crore (ex-showroom) in India. It will go head-to-head with the BMW M2 and the Audi RS5.
