Design

The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is a more evolved version of its previous generation. In terms of design, it has grown a bit more mature with that assertive design language. At the front, you'll find that glowing kidney grille paired with sleek LED headlamps, giving it a distinctive road presence. The bumpers are slightly tweaked for a more aggressive stance. Meanwhile, dimensionally, the car has grown a bit longer and taller, measuring 4,546 mm in length and 1,445 mm in height, while the width (1,800 mm) and wheelbase (2,670 mm) remain unchanged. The side profile is arguably the most alluring with those frameless doors and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. While the rear part is the most minimalist with those LED tailamps, along with dual finished bumpers with those functional vents.
Interiors

Stepping inside, you're greeted with a driver-focused cabin. Dominating the dash is BMW's new curved display with a 10.24-inch instrument cluster, along with a 10.7-inch instrument cluster. The interface works on the BMW operating system 9 with support for voice commands, touch inputs, and wireless connectivity. The cabin has dual-tone themes like Mocha and Oyster, which add to its luxury quotient. Some of the key features include a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a head-up display with Augmented View, and BMW Digital Key. The safety suite includes ADAS features such as Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, 360-degree Parking Assist, and Reversing Assistant.
Powertrain

Under the hood of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe lies a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol unit. It comes paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch Steptronic automatic transmission and belts out 156 PS and 230 Nm of torque. While this engine may not scream performance like its sibling, but strikes a perfect balance between efficiency and daily drivability. It can do a 0-100 Km/h sprint in 8.6 seconds and gives out a fuel efficiency of around 16.35 kmpl. However, there's no diesel variant on offer with this generation.
Pricing
The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is available in two variants: 218i M Sport and 218i M Sport Pro. These are priced at Rs 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 48.90 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price tag, it rivals the Mercedes-Benz A Class and Audi A4.
