Mini has recently commenced the bookings for its all-electric SUV, Mini Countryman in India. The 2025 Mini Countryman gets the same powertrain as the BMW iX1. The all-electric SUV is available for prebookings with the new generation Mini Cooper S. According to the company's website, Countryman Electric will make its India debut in the next few weeks. 2025 Mini Countryman Electric Design
The new Countryman has received some significant design upgrades this time. The all-electric SUV now gets a new set of headlights with the signature LED DRLs, and an Octagonal grille. Talking about the rear design changes, the 2025 Countryman features revised taillights with a new tailgate.
2025 Mini Countryman Features
The new Mini Countryman derives some of its features from the Mini Cooper. The electric SUV has features such as a 9.5-inch round OLED infotainment display, turn-key starter, drive mode selector, and toggle switches for the handbrake button. Apart from this, a new head-up display has replaced the older infotainment system on the SUV. Additionally, Countryman Electric will also arrive with Level 2 ADAS, an electrically adjustable driver's seat with massage functionality, a fisheye in-car camera and much more
New Mini Countryman Powertrain
The 2025 Mini Countryman Electric gets its power from a 66.45 kWh battery, generating 201 bhp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. This battery pack enables the SUV to provide a maximum driving range of 462 km. The Countryman will also be available in a more powerful version, Countryman ALL4 which churns out 494 Nm of torque and 309 bhp of power. The ALL4 variant of the SUV will provide a lesser range- 433 km. However, it is unclear which variant of the SUV will be made available in India.
New Mini Countryman Expected Price
The 2024 Countryman Electric will arrive in India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. However, the company is still tight-lipped on the price of the upcoming E-SUV in India, it is expected to come with a price tag of Rs. 70 lakh in India. Once launched, it will go against the BMW iX1, Volvo XC40 recharge, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 on Indian shores.
