Mumbai To Goa In 6.5 Hours: M2M Ferries With RoPAX Vessel Soon

The newly acquired vessel, a refurbished Italian RoPAX, will depart from Mumbai's Ferry Wharf, with plans to dock at Mormugao Port in Goa, and possibly Panaji in the future. With a capacity for 620 passengers and 60 cars, it's designed to make road trips between these cities significantly more convenient. This initiative aligns with India's broader push for enhanced water transport, mirroring successful projects like the Hazira-Ghogha ferry in Gujarat, and is supported by Maharashtra's investment in new Ro-Ro infrastructure along its coastline.

Fares And Launch Timeline

The question on everyone's mind is, how much will it cost? M2M Ferries is actively working to make this sea journey accessible, hoping to secure government support in the form of fuel subsidies and tax breaks, which would help keep ticket prices within reach for travelers.
