Engine & Specifications

As the name suggests, Black Badge is more of a cosmetical upgrade rather than the technical. Hence, it uses the same 6.75-Lt, V12 petrol engine as the standard car. Although, Rolls Royce has retuned the ECU and the Black Badge now produces 29 hp and 50 Nm more torque than the standard Ghost. A peak power output of 600 hp and 900 Nm of peak torque is what you can expect from underneath the hood. It uses a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission for delivering this power to all the 4-wheels. Additionally, the Ghost Black Badge uses the renowned rear-axle steering as well.

Rolls Royce has also added a 'Low' mode which increases the throttle response and the gearshift speed up to 50 percent faster than the standard car. This mode also retunes the exhaust sound to become in sync with the increased performance.

With this, the company has opened up the bookings of this special edition luxury yacht-like limousine. The potential buyers can book the car for an undisclosed amount. Similarly, the pricing of this special edition remains hidden until the official launch in India.
