Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball Spied with Accessories; Launch Soon!

Royal Enfield is all geared up to launch its new 350cc motorcycle in the Indian market. A few weeks ago, the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball was leaked via an online configurator. Also, it has been spied multiple times testing on the Indian roads. Initially, the Meteor 350 Fireball was about to be launched in April this year. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the launch was delayed. But, now it seems that the motorcycle will be launched really soon as it has been spotted again. This time the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball has been spied wearing multiple accessories.

As you can see in the image above, this test mule of the Meteor 350 Fireball gets a lot of add-ons and fitments. For starters, there is a new big windscreen and the brake levers are also different in this unit. The earlier test mules had black colour brake levers but this one gets silver levers and it might get adjustability function too. Then there are broader footpegs and new crash guards. It also gets pannier mounts on either side and the engine is completely muddy which hints that the rider must have had some good adventure on it. It was already leaked that the Meteor 350 will get a host of accessories and now it has been spied in flesh too.

Talking about the powertrain, so the new Meteor 350 Fireball will be powered by the next-gen UCE 350 engine. It will get a BS6-compliant 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor will churn out around 20.07 PS of power at 5250 RPM and 28 Nm of peak torque at 4000 RPM. The engine will be coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox. It will be based on Royal Enfield's new modular J1D platform. This platform is an improved version of the current platform that underpins the Classic series. The motorcycle will get a new single-pod digital instrument cluster. It might get Bluetooth, navigation and app-based connectivity too.

The Meteor 350 Fireball will get telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged dual shock-absorbers at the rear. It will get disc brakes at either ends and dual-channel ABS too. The Meteor 350 Fireball will replace the Thunderbird 350X in the company's India line-up. Like the Thunderbird 350X, it will also get funky colour schemes. Talking about the launch timeline, so the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball has been just spied with accessories hinting its final phase of testing. It is expected to be launched by the festive season and will be priced around Rs. 1.70 lakhs, Ex-showroom.
