Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford Ecosport, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 comprises of this list. Only Venue and Brezza are some of the few compact SUVs that are offered with no discount. We say it is their popularity among Indian buyers as to the latest features and a fuel-efficient SUV respectively.

Mid-size SUVs
These SUVs are bigger than the compact ones but smaller than the full-fledged like the Endy and Fortuner. The list of this particular segment includes Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Volkswagen T-Roc and the recently launched BS6 Nissan Kicks.
Full-size SUVs
We all know that Toyota Fortuner is the leader of this segment followed by Ford Endeavour. Both these SUVs costs an upward of Rs 30 lakh, on-road Delhi and neither of them is offering a single piece of discount. This shares how these are popular ones in its segment. In fact, the Endy just got a new BS6 2.0L diesel unit which now comes with 10-speed AT gearbox. Ford claims that this new engine offers more mileage than before. Toyota Fortuner gets an edge over the Endeavour as it also provides the buyer with an option of a petrol engine. The 4x4 option only comes with the oil burner for both the SUVs.
Electric SUVs
Hyundai started out the storm by bringing in Kona which became the first electric SUV in the market. A powerful battery which came with an excellent driving range of 452 km (by the way, it is still the highest in its segment). Following this MG too gave entry to the ZS EV which competes directly with the Kona in the price department. The ZS EV is one such SUV which provides more features and understands the modern technologies. Then comes the most affordable electric SUV from the lot which is Nexon EV from homegrown carmaker Tata Motors.
