This Is How 2022 Maruti Baleno Alpha Variant In Nexa Blue Look Like - Video

The launch of the new 2022 Maruti Baleno is tomorrow that is on Feb 23 and now we've got hold of what the top-spec Alpha variant of the premium hatchback looks like. Spotted in the Nexa Blue colour scheme, this top of the line variant packs in all the goodies that it has to offer.

As can be seen, the front profile gets LED headlights, LED fog lights with chrome garnish and a redesigned Nexa signature grille. Moving towards the side profile then here we get 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, power-folding ORVMs with turn indicators, chrome door handles and UV cut glasses.

The UV cut glasses are made available for the Alpha variant only and they absorb the UV rays from the sun that are harmful to the skin as well as the car interior. Similarly, at the rear, the taillights as well as the bumpers see a restyled design.

2022 Maruti Baleno Alpha

Moving towards the cabin, the Alpha variant gets equipped with a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen smartplay pro and surround sense by ARKAMYS. This variant also gets a segment-first head-up display (HUD) and a 360-degree camera. Other features like cruise control, auto-dimming IRVM, rake and reach adjustable steering wheel, co-driver vanity light, leather-wrapped steering wheel will also be observed in the same.

Safety features on the new Maruti Baleno include as many as six airbags, a high-speed alert system, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control with hill hold (AMT only), rear parking sensors, speed-sensing door lock and more.

2022 Maruti Baleno Alpha Variant

Mechanically, Maruti Baleno will be offered in a single 1.2-litre DualJet motor. This unit generates 89 bhp of power with a peak torque of 113 Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission is offered as standard and an AMT as an option. The ARAI certified fuel economy of Baleno sticks to 22.35 kmpl for the manual and 22.94 kmpl for the AMT.
