The test mule clearly showcases classic Bonneville design cues, staying true to Triumph's retro philosophy. It features a large teardrop-shaped fuel tank, chunky fenders, and a peashooter-style exhaust, all of which closely resemble the larger Bonnevilles. Triumph has also paid attention to finer details, such as the headlamp mounting bracket, neatly integrated bullet indicators, and clean front fender mounts, giving the motorcycle an authentic old-school appeal. Adding to this charm is a new single-pod instrument cluster and a small circular tail-light, both of which further enhance its retro character.

The test bike also appears to feature a revised subframe, likely designed to accommodate a flatter seat with white piping, while possibly hinting at a longer swingarm for improved stance and stability. Unlike its 400 cc siblings, it sticks to traditional hardware with telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, and spoke wheels, staying true to its retro roots.

For India, the motorcycle is expected to use a smaller 350cc liquid-cooled engine to benefit from lower taxation, while international versions will continue with the 398cc motor. Interestingly, Triumph may still market it as a "400" in India. If priced competitively, it has the potential to challenge the Royal Enfield Classic 350, though its real impact will depend on pricing and performance closer to launch.

Verdict
If priced correctly, this bike has the potential to make a strong impact in the popular 350cc cruiser segment. It carries the retro appeal that buyers love, and the Bonneville name has been celebrated for years, which could attract Indian buyers looking to be part of that legacy. It will launch internationally first, with India expected to get it later, likely around mid-2027.
