A new 150cc motorcycle from TVS has been sighted undergoing testing in Bengaluru. The TVS HLX 150 was seen in its fully production-ready form during the test. The motorcycle appears to be geared for export purposes, aimed at launching in the international market. TVS HLX 150
The recently spotted motorcycle features a straightforward commuter-style design, highlighted by a plastic headlamp cowl and a halogen headlamp. It comes with a single long seat for both the rider and pillion, along with a slender fuel tank. The engine area includes a tubular crash protector, while the side profile showcases "HLX 150" badging on the lower section. On the hardware front, the bike is equipped with a telescopic front fork, dual-spring shock absorbers at the rear, and alloy wheels with front disc and rear drum brakes.
On the features front, it is likely to get an analogue instrument cluster, an USB charging port, and other basic commuter motorcycle features. Overall the motorcycle looks like the bigger sibling of the TVS Stra City which is already on sale in the Indian market.
TVS HLX 150 Engine
It is highly probable that the HLX 150 will be equipped with a 147cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor generates 11.9bhp and 12.3Nm of torque and is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
Verdict
It is unlikely that this motorcycle will be launched in the Indian market, as the brand may have designed it specifically for the Colombian and South African markets.
