Just like every other month, August will also see the launch of new vehicles. This time, according to our confirmed list, there will be more ICE two-wheelers launching than EVs. Of course, the ratio could change if some manufacturers make announcements mid-month, but for now, we have a list of 4 bikes and one bonus product. Honda CB 125 Hornet

The most affordable Hornet motorcycle, the CB 125 Hornet, was unveiled at the Generation Honda event on July 24. This motorcycle features a 123.94cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that complies with OBD2B emission standards. It produces 8.2 kW (11.14 PS) of power at 7,500 RPM and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 RPM, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Additionally, it comes loaded with features like single-channel ABS, LED lights, a 4.2-inch TFT display with Honda Road Sync, and a USB Type-C port. Bookings will begin on August 1, with the launch scheduled for later this month. It is expected to be priced at Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom).
Honda Shine 100 DX

As the name suggests, the Shine 100 DX is a premium variant of the reliable workhorse Shine, offering a more refined touch. It features modern touches like a digital meter console with a mileage indicator and trip meter, along with chrome finishes on the gear pedal, brake pedal, and a garnish on the front visor. It also comes with new graphics that enhance its overall appearance, along with a refreshed Honda logo. Additionally, it is equipped with a 5-step adjustable rear suspension. Like the CB 125 Hornet, bookings will begin by August 1. This motorcycle will be available in four eye-catching colors, with an expected price of Rs 72,000.
Triumph Thruxton 400

This will be the fourth Triumph motorcycle featuring a 398.15cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The Thruxton 400, a cafe racer with a half-fairing body inspired by the larger Thruxton 1200, has been spotted several times during testing without camouflage. Triumph has officially announced its reveal/launch date: August 6, 2025. Expected specs include 39.5 bhp of power, 37.5 Nm of torque, 17-inch wheels at both front and rear, dual-channel ABS, USD suspension at the front, and a mono-shock at the rear. The expected starting price is Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Oben Rorr EZ

The Oben Rorr EZ, launched in November 2024, is entering its second generation on August 5th, bringing a bold new design while retaining the same battery setup. It's a quick turnaround for a motorcycle to receive such a significant update, but thats the Oben way. Bookings will open on August 5th, with deliveries set to begin by August 15th. According to the press release, the Rorr EZ offers an IDC range of up to 175 km, fast charging that reaches 80% in just 45 minutes, and a top speed of 95 km/h, catering to a wide range of commuter preferences.
Honda Xoom 160

At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, this powerful maxi scooter was launched at Rs 1,48,500 (ex-showroom), with bookings having started a few months ago. According to our sources, customers will finally start receiving the scooter from August. While much has already been discussed about it, here's a quick snapshot of its specs for this article: 14-inch wheels (front and rear), telescopic front suspension, dual shock absorbers at the rear, a weight of 142 kg, and a ground clearance of 155 mm.
The scooter is powered by a 156cc engine that produces 14.56 bhp and 14 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT gearbox. Its features include dual-chamber LED headlamps, a smart key, a digital tachometer, and TBT navigation.

Verdict
Apart from these, there's another one from Jawa-Yezdi, though we don't have many details yet, but it should definitely be on everyone's radar. Among these, the Triumph Thruxton 400 stands out as the most promising, with its unique cafe-racer styling that looks cool even in unclear images. Additionally, the Honda 125 Hornet has the potential to be a game-changer and could drastically improve the future of the Hornet brand.
