Yamaha FZ 25 & FZ-X Gets Dearer Again, Check New Price Here
  • Yamaha FZ-X & FZ 25 are now costlier than before
  • The price hike doesn't include any design and mechanical changes
  • This is the third price hike since June

The price of the Yamaha FZ-X and FZ 25 motorcycles has been increased for the Indian market. Since June of this year, there has been a third price increase. No physical or mechanical alterations to any of the bikes are brought about by this hike. After an increase of Rs 1,000 from the previous price of Rs 1.32 lakh, the Yamaha FZ-X now costs Rs 1.33 lakh (ex-showroom) (ex-showroom). In addition, the pricing of the FZ 25 increased by Rs 1,000 to Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom).

Yamaha FZ-X comes with a 149cc engine which is able to produce 9 bhp of power and 13.3 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated with a 5-speed transmission. The bike features a neo retro design and gets a round headlamp to go with the retro look. The features of the FZ-X includes Yamaha's Y Connect function, an LCD instrument panel, side stand engine cut-off switch and others. The taillight too is an LED unit and lights up in an oval-shaped ring. For safety it gets single channel ABS.

The 249cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine that drives the Yamaha FZ 25 produces 20.1Nm of maximum torque and 20.5bhp of maximum power. The engine comes with a 5-speed transmission as well. The list of features includes dual-channel ABS, bi-functional LED headlights, LED DRLs, a side stand with an engine cut-off button, a LCD instrument cluster, and more. On the FZS 25 model, the flyscreen and knuckle guards are added benefits.
