Have A Look At The New Red Colour Variant Of Yamaha R15 V3 - Launch Soon

Yamaha R15 V3 is one of the most popular fully-faired motorcycles to be currently sold in the Indian market. The R15 has always been very popular in India and it is currently in its third-gen avatar. The R15 V3 was launched in India at the 2018 Auto Expo. From time to time, the company makes some minor updates on the motorcycle to make it look fresh. Now, the bikemaker will soon launch a new red colour variant of the 2021 Yamaha R15 V3 BS6.

The images of the upcoming new red colour variant of the Yamaha R15 V3 BS6 have already leaked on the internet. Also, this new red colour variant of the motorcycle has started arriving at authorised Yamaha dealerships across the country. Talking about its aesthetic appeal, so as you can see in the image (below), the Yamaha R15 V3 in its new red colour scheme looks really good. The motorcycle gets a two-tone finish of red and black and the blacked-out elements do compliment the overall beauty of the motorcycle.

The Yamaha R15 V3 was earlier available in three colour variants. They are Racing Blue, Thunder Grey and Dark Knight. Now, as the red colour variant will be launched soon, one will be able to choose from four different colour shades. Apart from the addition of this new red colour scheme, the R15 V3 won't get any other updates as it is already a performance-oriented feature-rich machine. Yamaha R15 V3 is powered by a BS6 compliant 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 18.6 PS of maximum power at 10000 RPM and 14.1 Nm of peak torque at 8500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The R15 V3 also gets Yamaha's VVA or Variable Valve Actuation technology. Yamaha's VVA system ensures that a good amount of power and torque is present throughout the entire rev range. The motorcycle gets disc brakes at both ends with a dual-channel ABS as standard. It is currently priced between Rs. 1.49 lakhs - Rs. 1.51 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and we don't think Yamaha will charge any premium for this new colour. Did you like this new colour shade?
