The new Kinetic DX will certainly appeal to those who were fans of the original, and would like to revisit the old days on a modern rendition. Sure, it may not emit the same 2-stroke drone, and there’s no smoke either, but this appears to be a very tastefully-done resurrection of an icon from the past, and expectations are high.
