Vida VX2 Detailed Review
- The Vida VX2 comes with a design that is more subtle and conservative, offering a look that will neither be too exciting or too offensive. There are no edgy visual elements and Vida has kept things simple. The front panel comes with the headlamp integrated neatly within, which does look stylish and modern. The DRL signatures and overall shape may remind you of its sibling, the V2.
- The side body panels also follow a rather simple and minimalistic design language, with no unnecessary elements. Similar to the River Indie, there is also a footpeg mounted near the floorboard, in case there is no space for the rider’s feet due to luggage. The rear section comprises a stylish tail lamp neatly integrated into the panels, and there are motorcycle-like winkers for the turn indicators.
- The Vida VX2 comes with seven paint schemes on offer. These colour schemes include Pearl Red, Pearl Black, Matte Lime, Autumn Orange, Matte White, Metallic Grey, and Nexus Blue.

- The Vida VX2 comes in two different guises. First is the VX2 Go, which comes with a 2.2kWh removable battery pack, with an IDC-claimed range of 92km on a single charge. This battery pack can be charged from 0-80% in a claimed time of 2.4 hours, while a full charge takes a claimed time of 3.5 hours. It also comes with a fast charging option, with a claimed time of 120 minutes for a full charge.
- The second variant is the VX2 Plus, which comes with two 3.4kWh removable battery packs, which give it an IDC-claimed range of 142km on a single charge. This setup takes a claimed time of 4.1 hours for a 0-80% charge, while a full charge takes a claimed time of 5.3 hours. Similar to the Go variant, the fast charging option here takes a claimed time of 120 minutes for a full charge.
- Both the VX2 Go and the VX2 Plus receive the same electric drivetrain; a hub-mounted PMSM electric motor producing a peak output of 6kW. However, the performance figures vary. The VX2 Go comes with a 0-40kmph time of 4.2 seconds, while the VX2 Plus does the same in a claimed time of 3.1 seconds. The VX2 Go also comes with a claimed top speed of 70kmph, while the VX2 Plus reaches a claimed top speed of 80kmph.
- Both variants of the VX2 come with a 4.3-inch instrument cluster, but while the VX2 Go gets a basic LCD unit, the VX2 Plus comes with a more sophisticated TFT unit. Both variants also come with connectivity features, while also boasting of turn-by-turn navigation. The VX2 Plus comes with a front disc brake, and three ride modes; eco, ride, and sport, while the VX2 Go misses out on the Sport mode and it also gets drum brakes on both ends.
