The new MY21 KTM Duke 125 gets a distinctive styling that is inspired by the performance powerhouse - KTM 1290 Super Duke R. It now resembles the Duke 200 BS6 that is on sale in India to a great extent. Earlier this year, the KTM Duke 200 also got a significant update with new mechanicals and cosmetic overhaul. Now, the new 2021 KTM Duke 125 BS6 gest KTM's latest design language. The Baby Duke gets a re-designed sharp headlamp with KTM's signature daytime-running LEDs. Also, the motorcycle continues to get all-LED turn indicators and LED taillamps. Then, we also have new paint schemes for the motorcycle. All in all, it now looks much better than before.

Talking about the colour options, the new Duke 125 will be available in two colour shades - Electronic Orange and Ceramic White. Both these colours get triple-tone treatment. The Electronic Orange shade gets Orange with White &amp; Black accents while the Ceramic White colour variant gets White fuel tank with Black &amp; Orange accents. The naked streetfighter now gets a revised trellis frame with a bolt-on-rear subframe. It also gets a larger fuel tank which is more ergonomic than before and can hold up to 13.5-litres of petrol. The older Duke 125's fuel-tank capacity was just 10.5-litres. Also, it now weighs 159 kgs, which is around seven kilograms more than before.

While the motorcycle has got a lot of cosmetic changes, there are absolutely no changes in the powertrain. The new MY21 KTM Duke 125 continues to be powered by the same BS6-compliant 124.7cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This BS6 motor churns out 14.5 PS of maximum power at 9250 RPM and 12 Nm of peak torque at 8000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. For suspension duties, it gets USD or upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties on the motorcycle are performed by large disc brakes at either end and it gets a single-channel ABS too. Also, its seat height has been increased by 4 mm and the seat height is now rated at 822 mm.

Earlier this year, the Duke 200 also got a significant update with new mechanicals and cosmetic overhaul. KTM is now passing on the same treatment to the Baby Duke. The new KTM Duke 125 gets a re-designed sharp headlamp with KTM's signature daytime-running LEDs. Also, the motorcycle continues to get all-LED turn indicators and LED taillamps. The motorcycle also gets new triple-tone colour options.

Talking about the colour options on offer, the new KTM Duke 125 BS6 gets two new colour options and they are Orange with White &amp; Black and Black with White &amp; Orange. The motorcycle gets new cycle parts with bold cuts and creases on the body panels, new tank extensions and new seats. The new seats on the Duke 125 are completely identical to the one we see on the Duke 200, 250 and the 390. Also, the trellis frame of the motorcycle is now finished in orange and black shade and the alloys are also finished in black colour. All in all, the new KTM Duke 125 BS6 looks much better than before.

For suspension duties, it gets USD or upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties on the motorcycle are performed by large disc brakes at either end and it gets a single-channel ABS too.

KTM has updated the range of products in the Indian market to meet the upcoming emission compliance norm. The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer has launched the BS6 compliant Duke and RC range in the Indian market. The brand has updated the bikes in one go and has launched the BS6 compliant KTM Duke 125, RC 125, 200 Duke, RC 200, 250 Duke, 390 Duke and RC 390.

The KTM 200 Duke is now based on a new split trellis frame that makes it lighter. Also, it offers a newly shaped fuel tank and new headlamp set-up that makes it sportier. The bike gets powered by the 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine that develops a maximum power of 24 Bhp and peak torque of 19.3 Nm. The bike also gets a new multidisc clutch system, dual-channel ABS and two new paint schemes. It costs Rs 1.73 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The other BS6 KTM bikes have only received engine changes while they remain cosmetically identical to the BS4 versions.
