Primarily based on the Baleno premium hatchback, the Fronx has succeeded for Maruti in India. Sold via Nexa outlets, it is available with three engines and two gearbox options. Last Updated on 28th Apr'25: Maruti Suzuki India has recently updated its Grand Vitara and a few other models with 6 airbags as standard. The brand plans to make 6 airbags standard across all its models. Discussing the Fronx, it has recently seen a price hike that has increased the prices of all its variants by up to Rs 3,000, depending on the variant and powertrain option.

The latest prices for the Maruti Fronx have increased, but it is still well within the cushion limits, and not very significant to impact your buying decisions, with select variants like the Delta 1.2 AGS, Delta Plus 1.2 AGS, and Delta Plus (O) 1.2 AGS seeing a hike of up to Rs. 5,500. Meanwhile, all other variants have experienced a price rise of Rs. 500 each.

The quality of interior plastics doesn't quite match up to that of its competitors

It provides the smallest boot space in its segment, measuring at 308 liters

The rear seat may not be overly comfortable for taller passengers

It lacks certain features such as TPMS, rear armrest, auto wipers, and more

The 1.0-litre turbo engine is quick. However, it doesn't deliver an enjoyable driving experience.
