The 2026 Tata Punch has been launched at a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing a major update with refreshed styling, a redesigned cabin, and a longer feature list. It now gets a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine along with petrol and CNG options, while safety has been enhanced with six airbags as standard across variants.

The Tata Punch CNG and ICE facelift has been spotted testing with several feature upgrades, including a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, and possibly ventilated seats, making the cabin more premium. It is also expected to add safety tech like six airbags, ESC, 360-degree camera, and blind-spot monitoring.
The Tata Punch CNG delivers an ARAI-claimed mileage of 26.99 km/kg, making it one of the more fuel-efficient options in the micro-SUV segment. This strong efficiency figure is aimed at buyers looking for lower running costs while still opting for an SUV-style vehicle.
The Tata Punch CNG was set to launch with Tata’s twin-cylinder CNG technology, featuring two 30-litre cylinders that help free up boot space, with the spare wheel placed underneath the car.
