2020 Force Trax Cruiser BS6 Features, Specs Out - Exclusive!

All automotive manufacturers are gearing up to meet the latest BS6 emission norms in India. Most of them have rolled out new emission norm compliant passenger vehicles and the latest one to join the list is the 2020 Force Trax Cruiser BS6. We have managed to get hold of the exclusive info on this new model, thanks SP Force, Mumbai. They are the official dealers for Force Motors. Lets have a look at the changes in this updated people mover MPV.

The 2020 Force Trax Cruiser BS6 model gets an updated version of the same FM 2.6 CR diesel engine. This motor has been powering the BS4 avatar of the Cruiser Deluxe for a while now. In the BS6 iteration, it puts out more power (90 Bhp vs 85 Bhp) and higher torque (250 Nm vs 230 Nm) - both these figures are produced at the same engine speed as before. Apart from this, it carries over the same 5-speed manual gearbox before.

The updated 2020 Force Trax Cruiser BS6 also gets a host of changes on the outside. The front end is updated with a new bumper, new grille and a new set of headlights. This gives it a complete makeover. The rear too is different and the MPV gets matt black cladding all around. We must say it looks good enough for a people mover and as per the brochure, it wears wheel caps too. Thanks to the side cladding, width has gone up by 28mm and overall length is now over 5 meters! We also notice the normal tyres have been replaced with radial ones with a size of 215/75 R15.

The brochure of the 2020 Force Trax Cruiser BS6 also states that the cabin gets tweaks in terms of layout and quality levels. This MPV will be available in both 10 and 13 seater configurations - including the driver. Force claims the Trax also offers the lowest NVH or noise / vibration / harshness levels in its segment. Pricing isn't out yet and we feel Force will do that once the Corona lockdown lifts off. This vehicle will remain a popular choice in rural and semi-urban areas for years to come.
