Exterior Design: Bigger, Bolder And More SUV-Like
The all-new Countryman C adopts Mini's latest "Charismatic Simplicity" design philosophy. While it retains the familiar Mini identity, the SUV now looks significantly more muscular and upright than before.
At the front, the SUV features a redesigned octagonal grille flanked by adaptive LED headlamps with customizable light signatures. The squared-off stance, wider wheel arches and flush door handles lend it a cleaner and more modern appearance.
Mini has also equipped the SUV with redesigned LED tail lamps, a contrasting roof finish and 19-inch Kaleido two-tone alloy wheels. Buyers can choose from five exterior shades: Smokey Green, British Racing Green, Nanuq White, Slate Blue and Chilli Red.
Larger Dimensions Improve Practicality
Compared to its predecessor, the new Countryman has grown substantially in size. It measures 4,447 mm in length, 1,843 mm in width and 1,661 mm in height, while the wheelbase stands at 2,692 mm. Ground clearance has increased to 190 mm, making it better suited for Indian road conditions. The larger footprint also translates into more cabin room and a bigger boot.

Cargo capacity stands at 505 litres and can be expanded to 1,450 litres by folding the rear seats, making it one of the more practical offerings in its segment.

Interior: Technology Takes Centre Stage
The cabin follows a minimalist layout, but it is packed with technology. The highlight is the massive 9.5 inch circular OLED touchscreen, which serves as the vehicle's central control hub.
The dashboard uses textile-based materials instead of conventional leather and chrome-heavy finishes, giving the cabin a unique and modern character. Ambient lighting integrated into the dashboard further enhances the premium feel.
Mini says the materials used throughout the interior are chrome-free and leather-free, reflecting the brand's focus on sustainability.
Comfort And Convenience
The Countryman C comes loaded with premium features expected from a luxury SUV. It gets electrically adjustable JCW Sport Seats finished in Vescin upholstery, along with a seat massage function for the driver.
Other highlights include a panoramic glass sunroof, wireless phone charging, digital key functionality, a head-up display and a Harman Kardon 12-speaker sound system.
Rear seat passengers benefit from adjustable backrests that can recline up to 25 degrees and slide by up to 130 mm, allowing users to prioritize either passenger comfort or luggage space.
Connected Tech And Infotainment
Powering the infotainment experience is MINI Operating System 9, which supports touchscreen and voice controls. Drivers can activate the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant using the phrase "Hey MINI."
The SUV also offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, remote software updates, navigation, remote services and an in-car weather function.
An interior camera allows users to capture photos and videos from inside the cabin, while the Mini Digital Key Plus enables smartphone-based vehicle access.
Eight Mini Experience Modes
The Countryman C offers eight selectable driving and ambience modes that alter the vehicle's character. These modes adjust various parameters such as display graphics, lighting and sound effects.
Drivers can switch between settings ranging from the sportier Go-Kart Mode to the efficiency-focused Green Mode, allowing the SUV to adapt to different driving situations and preferences.
Engine And Performance

Under the hood, the Mini Countryman C is powered by a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol engine. The engine produces 156 hp and 240 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Power is sent to the front wheels.

Key features include front collision warning, lane departure warning, reversing assistant, attentiveness assistant and speed warning functions.
Additional equipment includes Parking Assistant Plus with a 360-degree camera, cruise control, multiple airbags, side curtain airbags, ABS, stability control, brake assist and intelligent emergency call functionality.
Mini Countryman C: Should You Buy It?
The Mini Countryman C is ideal for buyers who want something more distinctive than a conventional luxury SUV. While rivals such as the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Audi Q3 focus on traditional premium appeal, the Countryman stands out with its quirky design, tech-rich cabin and unmistakable MINI character.
If you prioritize rear-seat space or outright performance, the BMW X1 may be a stronger option. However, if you want a luxury SUV that feels unique, offers plenty of features and carries a strong lifestyle appeal, the new Countryman C deserves serious consideration.
