The newly launched Wagon R will come in a single top-spec variant, the ZXI+. Being based on the top-spec version, it comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, steering-mounted controls, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, a semi-digital instrument cluster, manual climate control, among others. The cabin layout and material also remain the same as the regular version; the brand has not made any changes on that front. Moreover, it carries forward the list of features available in the ZXI+ variant.
The flex-fuel version gets no visible changes on the exterior or the interior. However, the vehicle displayed by the brand showcased Flex Fuel stickers on either side and a bio-fuel badge on the tailgate. The overall design remains the same, with squared-off halogen headlamps, fog lamps, and 14-inch alloy wheels, among other exterior highlights.

The flex-fuel version is powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that is tuned to produce 90 bhp of power along with 113.7 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only for the flex-fuel version.

If we look at the pricing of the flex-fuel version, it is Rs 86,000 more expensive than the regular ZXI+ variant. Also, the availability of E85 fuel is currently limited to the Delhi-NCR region, with only one fuel station dispensing E85 fuel. However, Maruti has played its cards well by launching India's first flex-fuel vehicle, giving it a first-mover advantage.
