Better late than never! Great news for fans of the Porsche 911 GT3 - the latest 992.2 generation has finally arrived in India at Rs 3.32 crore. The car made its global debut back in October 2024, but India has only just received it, in June 2026 - nearly two years later. This sports car is truly special, as it's probably the last 911 to come with a naturally aspirated engine; the next generation might switch to a turbo or hybrid setup. But at least it’s here while it lasts, and that's what makes it a one-of-a-kind vehicle.
Porsche 911 GT3
The 911 GT3 sits between the Carrera and Turbo in the 911 lineup, and it’s a highly competent track car that's equally enjoyable for touring. The most surprising thing about this car is its engine - a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six that puts out 510 PS and 450 Nm of torque, revving all the way to 9,000 RPM. It hits a top speed of 311 km/h, does 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and 0-200 km/h in 10.8 seconds. Power goes to the rear wheels only, via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK) as standard - though a 6-speed manual is also available for purists. With no all-wheel-drive option, this is about as pure a sports car experience as you'll get for Rs 3.32 crore, and lastly, this car sound is symphony to ears.

Design Changes
For 2026, the 911 GT3 gets a handful of styling and aero tweaks rather than a full overhaul. Up front, there are redesigned LED headlamps and rear-light bar along with a reworked front diffuser and spoiler lip, while revised underbody air guides have been added to sharpen aerodynamics and downforce rather than just looks. On the options side, the Weissach package for the GT3 now leans more heavily on CFRP (carbon fibre reinforced plastic), used for the roof and various aero elements, along with CFRP suspension components, and the interior gets a lift with Leather and Race-Tex trim touches.

The colour palette is huge, there are 50 plus shades to choose from, and the wheels at front are of 20 inch and 21 inch at rear, plus available in two tones - standard alloy and magnesium painted in california gold, optimally available with Wissach package.
Interior Features
The iconic dials have been replaced with a 12.6-inch curved display that offers three different display modes - a classic five-tube look, a three-tube look, and a track screen, where the central rev counter can also be displayed rotated. Also, there is a 10.9 inch infotainment screen with wireless android auto and apple carplay and WIfi hotspot.

The standard seats are lightweight, folding carbon-fibre bucket seats with GT3 lettering, but customers seeking more everyday comfort can opt for the 18-way adaptive sports seats instead.
Who Should Buy This?
Buy the Porsche 911 GT3 if you’re chasing the purest, most connected driving experience Porsche makes. Someone who’ll actually track the car, who wants a screaming 9,000rpm flat-six over outright speed, and who's fine trading away ride comfort and back-seat practicality for it. If you want a 911 as a daily driver, go for Carrera; if you want effortless speed with daily comfort, go for Turbo. The GT3 isn't really "better" than either - it’s built for a narrower, more specific kind of buyer.
