All New 2020 Honda City to Launch on July 15

The wait is finally going to over as Honda has announced the launch date of the much-awaited City. The all-new 2020 Honda City is all set for the India launch on 15th July. It will boast a ton of features and come with three powertrain options. Being the longest and the widest car of its segment, it will bring fresh air in the family sedan segment.

Honda City is a moniker each one of us is familiar with and now, it has got better than before. The new City will offer a host of new features and better engines than before. We have already driven the new Honda City and we were pleasantly surprised by the family sedan. The new Honda City is better in every way - it sits on a new and advanced platform and sees a big jump in terms of interior quality and feel. The front is inspired by bigger Hondas like the Civic and the Accord. The rear profile of the new City gets LED taillamps which are wrapped around to the back. The interiors of the new City are better than before. You will see stitched leather on the dashboard, centre tunnel and on the door pads, giving it a premium feel.

New Honda City launch

Honda City now offers features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Alexa connect, lane watch camera, electric sunroof, G-meter, semi-digital instrument cluster and much more. Talking about the engines, the new City offers a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine which is mated with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The diesel engine is the same as before - 1.5-litre i-DTEC which is only mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Honda will launch the new 2020 Honda City on July 15 and it is expected to be priced from Rs 10-15 lakhs ex-showroom. The new City will take on the likes of other sedans like Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Toyota Yaris, Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid.
