Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited have just teased the upcoming 2020 Honda Livo BS6 in India. The new Livo 110 BS6 will sport all-new looks, will get a powerful BS6-compliant engine and plenty of new features too. Honda has just released the teaser video of the motorcycle on its social media platforms and it looks very promising. Here are some more details about it.
The Honda Livo is a sporty 110cc commuter motorcycle. Earlier, it was on sale with a BS4-compliant engine but Honda didn't update it to BS6 in April 2020. However, as it is said better to be late than never. So, although Honda delayed its launch, they are now coming back and that too with a bang! The teaser image reveals that the premium 110cc commuter will now get a sportier appeal.
The motorcycle will get new all-LED headlamps with a sharp front-end, blacked-out visor and body-coloured rear-view mirrors. It has a masculine appeal, thanks to the muscular fuel tank and new sharp tank extensions. It will also get new sporty body graphics to further enhance the appeal. The motorcycle will get a well-cushioned single-piece seat along with a blacked-out grabrail. At the rear, it will get a slim taillamp and overall, the teaser hints that the motorcycle will be very attractive.
The 2020 Honda Livo BS6 will share its powertrain with the recently launched Honda CD 110 Dream BS6. This means that it will get a BS6-compliant 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor will churn out 8.80 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 9.3 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine will come coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox and will be the most powerful bike in its class.

Like other new BS6-compliant Honda products, it will get Honda's Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology that maximizes performance and fuel efficiency. It will also feature Honda's Eco Technology (HET) and an ACG starter motor that helps to start the bike without a jolt and offers a smooth ride. The new Honda Livo BS6 will get a semi-analogue semi-digital instrument cluster and will be loaded with a lot of information.
The motorcycle will get telescopic front forks and dual hydraulic springs at the rear. The braking duties will be handled by a disc at the front and a drum unit at the rear. It will also get a combined braking system (CBS) as an additional safety aid. Some other useful features will include like a DC LED headlamp, new engine on/off switch, ACG starter motor and many more.
The 2020 Honda Livo BS6 has just been teased and will be launched really soon. The BS4 Honda Livo was priced between Rs. 57,000 - Rs. 62,000 and we expect the BS6 model to be priced around Rs 65,000, Ex-showroom Delhi. The upcoming Honda Livo BS6 will rival against other BS6-compliant 110cc commuters which include the Hero Passion Pro, Splendor iSmart, Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear, etc.
