Dhoom Bike is Back: 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa To Be Launched in India On This Date - All Details

Suzuki Hayabusa is the most popular superbike in our country. The Suzuki Hayabusa is an Iconic Motorcycle, not just in Indian Motorcycling History, but all over the world. The first-generation Hayabusa was launched in the year 1999. Now, it's 2021, Suzuki recently unveiled the new third-generation Hayabusa and it's coming to India very soon. The Japanese bikemaker has now even revealed the India launch date of the new 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa.

First of all, let's talk about the launch date, so the new third-gen 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will be launched in India on April 26, 2021. The unofficial pre-launch bookings for the new Suzuki Hayabusa are already open and one can book it by paying a token amount of Rs. 2 lakh - Rs. 5 lakh, depending on the city. The new Suzuki Hayabusa will be brought to India via the CKD route as completely knocked-down units. The new-generation 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is expected to be priced around Rs. 20 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.

Now, if we talk about the heart of the matter, so the new Suzuki Hayabusa gets the same old 1340cc, inline-four-cylinder engine but it now complies with Euro-5 / BS6 emission norms. This liquid-cooled motor now churns out 190 PS of power at 9700 RPM and 150 Nm of peak torque at 7000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and it now gets a host of electronics too. To name a few, the Suzuki Hayabusa now gets a six-axis IMU, lean-angle sensitive traction control, ABS, launch control, ride modes, anti-wheelie, engine braking settings, cruise control, hill hold control, etc.

The new third-gen Suzuki Hayabusa retains its iconic silhouette but it now looks sharper than ever before and gets plenty of modern elements too. In India, it is expected to be available in two colour options. They are Glass Sparkle Black with Candy Burnt Gold and Metallic Matt Sword Silver with Candy Daring Red.
