2021 Tata Harrier Dark Edition Launched in XT+, XZ+ and XZA+ Trims

Tata Motors has rolled out the updated version of the Harrier Dark Edition. With prices starting from Rs 18.04 lakh (ex-showroom), the new model is available in XT+, XZ+ and XZA+ trims. Compared to the previous Dark model, the 2021 Tata Harrier Dark Edition costs almost a lakh rupees more but that's because unlike the earlier version, the latest model isn't available in the XT trim.

2021 Tata Harrier Dark Edition Features and Updates

Akin to the previous version, the latest all-black edition of the Tata Harrier comes with an all-black colour scheme. In line with the paint theme, the front-end carries all-black grille, bumper and skid plate. Similarly, the side profile features black trim but a major update over the previous model comes in the form of the introduction of the Blackstone 18-inch alloy wheels.

Other than these, things remain pretty much the same, with the highlights of the design including a multi-port headlamp setup, stylish wrap-around taillamp, and overall a very modern form factor. Inside, the 2021 Tata Harrier Dark edition gets a similar all-black colour theme for all the panels, upholstery and even the roof-liner.

Powering the Tata Harrier Dark Edition is the same 2.0-litre KRYOTEC diesel engine that is available on the regular model. The motor outputs a maximum power of 170 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic unit. While the Harrier is a FWD model, it does offer terrain modes to help you tackle the challenging surfaces to at least some extent. Currently, the Tata Harrier range is available in a price bracket of Rs 13.69 lakh to Rs 20.81 lakh, ex-showroom.

Commenting on the launch of this Dark Edition range of vehicles, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Head Marketing, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors said, Harrier #Dark which was launched as a limited edition product initially, did extremely well and on popular customer demand became an integral part of the Harrier portfolio. It offered an exciting & unique package to the customers. We are confident that the extended dark range is equally compelling and cater to customers who are looking for bold & stylish cars this festive season. Bookings for the 2021 Tata Harrier Dark Edition are now open at all authorised dealerships across the country.
