With the beginning of 2023, we've good news for KTM fans. The 2023 KTM Duke 390 has been spied on once again. This time the test bike was spied at a parking lot in full camouflage. The updated model is suspected to debut soon in India with some radical changes. Read more details about it below.

2023 KTM Duke 390 Details
Speaking of the updated model, the new Duke will get a revised design. Along with a new LED headlight, the spied-on model has new tank extensions and big body panels. In fact, a lot of its design replicates the bigger Super Duke. Additionally, the riding posture seems to have undergone subtle changes as well. Meanwhile, the alloy wheels are changed as well. We think these have been carried forward from the new RC 390. This also means that the alloy wheels on the new bike will be lighter. The braking setup also looks bigger than before.
Meanwhile, the chassis and rear subframe on the test bike is different. This can possibly mean that KTM will refurnish its handling with these changes. The swingarm looks butch as it might be aluminum made. Additionally, the 373cc engine will undergo changes and tweaks. These tweaks are likely to make the new Duke more tractable and more linear. The power delivery of the new Duke will be user-friendly, unlike the old-gen Duke which was explosive in performance. Additionally, the front suspension is a USD setup while the rear suspension is now an off-set monoshock.
The feature list on the new Duke will also witness some revisions. These might include new connected tech as such navigation, etc. In fact, the new Duke is suspected to get some segment-first tech. The majority of these features shall be carried from its bigger siblings like the Duke 790.
Verdict
The test mules of the new Duke are being spotted frequently. Judging by the ongoing speed of testing, we think KTM will introduce the updated bike as soon as March'23. However, it won't be any time before mid-2023, as per speculations, that it will get launched. Be ready for a small price hike with the new model due to the addition of new features & tech.
