2023 Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus has spied on a test run. The upcoming long-wheelbase 9-seater SUV is basically a rebadged version of the TUV 300 Plus.

After launching the Bolero Neo, Mahindra is now readying its more variants. One such variant is a 9-seater Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus. This upcoming variant has been spied on a city test run. Read more about this below.

Speaking of this upcoming model, it is basically a rebadged version of the TUV 300 Plus. Meanwhile, the long-wheelbase version of the TUV 300 could not do well in the past. However, with the new refresh appeal; it is expected to offer more value for money proposition. Additionally, Mahindra will refresh its exterior with similar changes done to the Bolero Neo. These shall include a new front fascia with a revised grille & headlights. Similarly, the interior shall also get a refreshed appeal with some added features.

Under its hood, Mahindra shall use the 2.2-lt m-Hawk diesel engine. This engine makes 120 bhp of peak power in 'Power' mode & 94 bhp in 'Economy'. Meanwhile, a 6-speed manual transmission is what will be on offer. No automatic option for the buyers on this one. Apart from this, Mahindra is also readying a 7-seater version and an ambulance based on the Bolero Neo. Both of these models, including the 9-seater, were homologated last year.

Verdict

As the test mule was seen as production-ready, we suspect that its launch isn't far away. However, it will be interesting that how Mahindra will place it in its lineup. The current lineup includes the Scorpio Classic which offers more for less price. Hence, the market share of Bolero Neo Plus will be aimed at commercial fleet owners. Its expected price is Rs 10-13 lakh and the launch might take place in the coming weeks.
