2024 KTM Adventure 390 Duo Spied Globally Testing - Debut Next Year?

2024 KTM Adventure 390 is under construction. Two of its test mules have been spied altogether with different equipment fitted on them. Read the details below.

The KTM Adventure 390 has turned out to be one huge success for the Austrian brand. Not only in the global but domestic market as well; the ADV has created its own tribe. We reported earlier this year that KTM is now developing a new pair of ADVs. Approving of this fact are the latest spy shots. The new photos have come from foreign land showing us two test mules. Hence, this could possible be the next generation of the 390 Aventure. Read more details below.

2024 KTM Adventure 390 Details

As one can make out, there are two visible test bikes. One is going to be a touring/rally variant whilst the second shall be the Enduro version. Talking of the first one; the Rally version endorses a completely new front design. The headlight cowl is vertically elongated with twin vertical round headlights. Additionally, it is equipped with a long windscreen and a long travel suspension. The suspension, however, seems revised completely. Additionally, the tyre size on both of the test bikes is different completely. The front is a 21-inch spoked rim while the rear looks like a 19-inch. Both of the bikes have been fitted with all-purpose tyres.

Meanwhile, the Rally version is also seen testing with panniers and a top box. We suspect that both of the versions will get LED lighting, TFT digital instrument console, riding modes, Bluetooth connectivity, etc. Additionally, KTM might also equip the new ADV model with added features like navigation, etc. Also, the engine casing and components look unfamiliar to the current 372cc engine. Hence, we suspect some major changes to the power and torque outputs as well. However, no claims or anticipations can be made until some info breaks out from the headquarters.

The second version is a more minimalistic Enduro version. It has been oriented towards more hardcore off-road riding. Probably the trail riders will buy it more for its design. It has minimal body panels, a small instrument panel, and a lightweight body; as we can make out from the spy images. However, both of these bikes come fitted with a new swingarm, new chassis, & even a new exhaust system.

Verdict

To cater to the increasing off-road bike sales globally; KTM is paying attention to the right product. The 390 Adventure has the exact amount of power, tech, & equipment as needed. Additionally, the affordability factor of it is also unbeatable in the segment. However, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is also under development & it will rival the 390 directly once debuted. For now, we anticipate that KTM will not debut the new ADV by the end of next year.
